Erikson & Caradin Craftsmen & Wolves Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is a sophisticated and bold expression of this classic varietal. On the nose, it offers a deep and complex bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, intertwined with notes of tobacco leaf, cedar, and a touch of graphite.

The palate is robust and full-bodied, with rich layers of dark fruit, cassis, and a hint of cocoa, all supported by firm yet finely polished tannins. Subtle nuances of vanilla and spice from oak aging add complexity without overpowering the fruit. The wine’s balanced acidity provides a lively freshness that carries through to a long, lingering finish with echoes of dark fruit and a touch of earthiness.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Craftsman & Wolves which includes 5% Petit Verdot, offers a vivid purple hue as well as a classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon nose of wild blueberries, currants, iron, and Asian spices, with a kiss of background chocolatey wood. It s medium-bodied, has ripe, present tannins, and a great finish. Coming from two rows of Clone 337 and aged in 75% new French oak, this rocking effort is perfect for drinking over the coming 15 years or more.

Attractive aromas of purple fruit, hints of licorice, anisette and cocoa. Slightly earthy, too. Full-bodied, succulent and rich with creamy tannins and a firm, lightly chewy finish.
