Venge Vineyards Scout’s Honor Proprietary Red 2022 is a rich and full-bodied wine that pays tribute to the loyal and beloved Labrador Retriever, Scout. The winemakers start with an old-vine Zinfandel base, layering on dry-farmed Petite Sirah, old-vine Charbono, and mountain vineyard Syrah to create a complex and delicious blend. On the nose, aromas of violets, dried cinnamon, and white flowers mix with fresh cut blue herbs and a touch of barrel toast.
